Condoms are primarily produced from natural rubber latex or polyurethane through a highly automated dipping and curing process that ensures strength, elasticity, and safety.
1. Compounding
Raw liquid latex is mixed with vulcanizing agents, stabilizers, and pigments in large tanks to improve durability and elasticity.
2. Dipping & Ring Rolling
Smooth glass or metal mandrels are dipped twice into the latex bath for an even coating. Rotating brushes then form the base ring at the open end.
3. Vulcanization & Washing
The coated mandrels pass through heating ovens to cure the rubber. Condoms are then thoroughly washed to remove chemical residues.
4. Stripping & Tumbling
Air jets or water sprays remove the cured condoms from the mandrels. They are tumbled with powder or slurry to prevent sticking.
5. Electronic Testing
Every condom undergoes high-voltage pinhole testing. Any item with microscopic holes is automatically rejected.
6. Lubrication & Packaging
Passed condoms receive silicone lubricant and are hermetically sealed in foil wrappers after inflation and burst-pressure sampling tests. we also can try new shape’s package, such as drop shape or water shaped buttercup or container, which looks more luxurious for consumers.
